Rome
Rome is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world, so it’s no surprise that the Italian capital is jam-packed with fun once in a lifetime things to do. These include (but are in no way limited to): the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pantheon and the Coliseum. The Trevi Fountain is placed among a bunch of cool hotels and great shopping and nightlife and is one of the most ubiquitous parts of Rome culture. Finished in the 18th century, the Trevi Fountain is one of the best examples of the baroque architecture that Rome is so famous for. Toss a coin in the fountain, smooch your lover, eat gelato outside- all at the Trevi Fountain. Another must-see attraction is St. Peter’s Basilica, an active catholic church located in Vatican City. It’s more than worth the 323 step trek to the top of the basilica, for a view of the city unlike any other. Another great way to experience the basilica is to attend a church service. Lastly, before you leave Rome, you have to check out the Pantheon and the Coliseum. The Pantheon was a former pagan temple where you can pay homage to former Italian kings and Raphael, the artist. The Coliseum is similarly historical and architecturally striking, the site of many bloody gladiator fights is an engineering wonder.
Florence
The home of the Renaissance boasts a lot of cool cultural and historical attractions, many based around art, not surprisingly. Israel Tour ranks a few here. The Plazza della Signoria is a free, open-air museum where you can soak up Florence culture and the Duomo is a cathedral that also serves as Florence’s epicenter and number one attraction. Venice
