Wednesday, June 3– Day 1: Departure from Denver
Thursday, June 4– Day 2: Arrival in Israel
- Arrive in Israel to be met and assisted by ITW representative and your guide.
- Walking tour through layers of history and civilization in Old Jaffa.
- Shehekhianu ceremony on top of ancient Tel Jaffa overlooking modern Tel Aviv.
- Check in to hotel on Tel Aviv’s Mediterranean Coast.
- Welcome dinner at a local restaurant

Friday, June 5 – Day 3: Tel Aviv
- Breakfast at hotel
- Guided visit to Anu – The Museum of the Jewish People on the campus of Tel Aviv University
- Lunch on own and free time to explore the Nahalat Binyamin Crafts Fair.
- Continue to the hip Florentine neighborhood for a graffiti tour, focusing on post October 7th art
- Return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat
- Kabbalat Shabbat service led by Rabbi Sherwood at the Charles Clore Promenade overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
- Festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

Hotel Tel Saturday, June 6– Day 4: Tel Aviv• Breakfastathotel
- Options for Shabbat services nearby.
- Lunch on own
- Walking tour through the historic Neve Tzedek neighborhood, then stroll along
Rothschild Boulevard to see the Bauhaus style buildings for which central Tel Aviv was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and where Israel’s Independence was declared.
- Havdalah on the beach with Rabbi Sherwood

Sunday, June 7– Day 5: Western Negev/Gaza Envelope
- Breakfast and then check out of the hotel
- Drive south to the western Negev/Gaza Envelope region.
- Guided visit on Netiv Haasara, a Gaza border community which was brutally attacked on October 7
- Tour of Sderot, including Kobi Hill Lookout over northern Gaza Strip and the site of its former Police Station Memorial Site.
- Lunch on own in Sderot.
- Visit to the site of the “NOVA” Festival.
- Drive to the Negev Highlands.
- Check in to hotel in the Negev Highlands
- Stop for dinner in the home of one of the Kitchen Queens of Yerucham.

Monday, June 8– Day 6: South and to the North
- Breakfast then check out of the hotel and visit the grave site of David and Paula Ben Gurion, with its stunning view over the desert landscape of Zin Valley
- Enjoy a short walk through the Ein Avdat nature reserve
OR visit the home of David Ben Gurion in Sde Boker
- Lunch on own
- LONG Drive north to the Galilee (stop en route for coffee on own.)
- Check in and dinner at Nof Ginosar hotel
- Relaxation time along the seashore

Tuesday, June 9– Day 7: Israel’s Northern border

- Morning exploring Safed (Tzfat), the cradle of Kabbalah and the birthplace of Kabbalat Shabbat (our Friday evening service) including ancient synagogues and artist colony.

- Geopolitical tour of the Golan Heights, including the Gadot and Mt. Bental Lookouts.
- Return to the hotel to relax and swim in the Sea of Galilee beach

Wednesday, June 10– Day 8: From the North to Jerusalem

- Visit to the Israel Museum, including the Dead Sea Scrolls and large scale Ancient Jerusalem Model.

- Remainder of afternoon free to explore on own and get in last minute shopping
