Going up into the Land Arrive in Israel to be met and assisted by your ITC representative. Tour Old Jaffa, where paintings and sculptures have been installed in the alleys of the ancient port city once known as the Gate of Zion. Shehekhiyanu-Welcome ceremony on top of Tel Jaffa overlooking modern Tel Aviv, including Rabbi Krauskopf's reading by about Jaffa. Check-in to the Dan Panorama Hotel on Tel Aviv's Mediterranean Coast (1 night). Welcome dinner at Goshen Restaurant. Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Tel Aviv.

The Hebrew City and the Jewish State At Independence Hall, relive David Ben Gurion declaring the new State of Israel. Reading of Rabbi Sussman's “Declaration of Interdependence”. Hear about the establishment of Tel Aviv at the Founders Monument then stroll down Rothschild Boulevard to view the Bauhaus architecture for which central Tel Aviv was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the new Israel Innovation Center located in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange to learn how Israel became the Start Up Nation. Lunch on your own and free time to explore the Nachalat Binyamin crafts fair. While there checkout the nearby Carmel Market and bohemian Sheinkin Street – All Three of these Tel Aviv icons meet at the “Magen David Junction”. Visit the Palmach Museum in Ramat Aviv to learn about the elite underground organization which played a critical role in the founding of the State of Israel. Time permitting: Stop at Tank Corps Memorial and Museum at Latrun. Travel to Jerusalem. Check into the Inbal Hotel or Dan Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem (6 nights). Dinner in private room with a lecture by Rabbi Sussman or Special guest speaker Knesset Member Michael Oren or Program with Scouts Movement. Overnight: Inbal Hotel, Jerusalem.

The Old City of Jerusalem: An Ancient Jewish Legacy • Private room for discussion with Rabbi Sussman. Discover the archaeological story of the Western Wall and episodes of Jewish life in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago at Robinson's Arch and the Southern Wall Excavations, including a new discovery connected to the Chanukah story. Visit the traditional prayer area of the Western Wall. Tour of Jewish Quarter in the Old City, including Broad Wall, Rooftops and Cardo. Lunch on own. Tour of Hebrew Union College, followed by talk with an HUC faculty member. Guided tour of the new Hebrew Music Museum in downtown Jerusalem's Nachalat Shiva neighborhood to learn about the history of Jewish music from biblical times and through seven different regions of the Diaspora. Coffee and dessert at own expense at one of the cafés in adjacent Music Square and listen to an open air performance. Free time in Mamilla Mall or on

Holocaust, Remembrance and Continuity Private room for 15 minute talk with Rabbi Sussman. Tour of Yad Vashem Israel's national Holocaust memorial, including the the Holocaust History Museum and Children’s Memorial. Lunch at Yad Vashem. Meaningful visit to the Mt. Herzl Cemetery to discover chapters in the history of Israel at the graves of Yitzhak Rabin, Golda Meir, Theodore Herzl and Hannah Senesch. Free time to prepare for Shabbat. Friday night services/Kabbalat Shabbat at Kehilat Yozma Reform Congregation in Modi'in, followed by a home hospitality Shabbat dinner members of the local community. Lunch at Samir’s Restaurant in colorful Ramle. Visit to the Israel Museum. Visit the large scale Model of Ancient Jerusalem. Followed by free time to explore additional exhibitions on own. Masada and the Dead Sea: Freedom Fighters or Fanatics? • Set out across the Judean Desert and ascend Masada by cable car to tour the ruins of Herod's palace and the last outpost of Jewish independence. Discussion on top of Masada. Lunch at Dead Sea resort. Swim in the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, at a local resort. The resort also has a fresh water pool and spa facilities. Massage and spa treatments available by prior reservation at own expense. Tour the ruins of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and home to an ascetic sect of Essenes 2,000 years ago. Hear about this community's modern day Exodus story, including the personal story of Chava Almo, Germachin Center director and who made aliyah as a young girl in Operation Moses. Discover the Kurdish Jewish Village Experience on Moshav Yardena. Kurdish Lunch on Yardena – A remarkable gastronomic experience. Tour Agamon Hahuleh, a paradise for birds and people, by Golf Cart to see thousands of migrating birds coming to roost for the night.
