| Late afternoon arrival 5 PM in Israel to be met and assisted by your
ITC representative at Ben Gurion Airport. Proceed to the Galilee for
hotel check-in. Light the 2nd Hanukah candle with Erez and Ezra at
the hotel. Hotel check-in - Welcome dinner at the hotel

| Tuesday, 23 December - The Golan Heights and Beit Shean Valley
|
| Travel through the Golan Heights by jeep (Shvilim) - off the beaten
track - and stop to gaze down over the Galilee, as the Syrians once
did. Ascend to the peak of Har Bental, where you can enter army
bunkers and take in a panoramic view at the crossroads of three
countries; discuss the significance of the Golan Heights in today's
geo-political reality. Drive along Israel's border with Jordan
Visit Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu in the Beit Shean Valley. Light the 3rd
Hanukah candle on kibbutz. Free time for dinner (on one's own) on
the Tiberias boardwalk. Overnight: Sheraton Moriah ,Tiberias

| Wednesday, 24 December - Israel's Northern Border
|
| Ride up the Menara cliffs in a cable car and hear the moving stories
that took place there before the State was born; optional: enjoy
rappelling or biking back down the mountain (rappelling, biking not
included in tour price) In historic Acco, walk through the Old City
and visit the British prison, where Jewish freedom fighters were
incarcerated and the amazing Tunisian Synagogue, which is completely
decorated with mosaics depicting stories from Jewish history and
traditional texts . Tour the synagogues, courtyards, and shops of the
mystical city of Tzefat. Light the 4th Hanukah candle
Enjoy a boat ride on the Kinneret followed by a delicious dinner at
Decks (optional: some may eat at the Chinese Pagoda)

| Thursday, 25 December - The Mediterranean Coast and Ascent to

hospitality; enjoy browsing through the colorful Druze market
See ancient history come to life at the newly-opened multi-media
center against the backdrop of ancient Caesaria. Excavations include
an impressive amphitheatre and aqueduct. Ascent to Jerusalem
Take in a breathtaking view of the Old City of Jerusalem and recite

| Visit Shalva to see the important work they do with developmentally
disabled children. Spend some time today shopping. Tour colorful,
bustling Machaneh Yehuda open-air market, as Jerusalem prepares
for Shabbat. Light Shabbat candles and the 6th Hanukah candle
Kabbalat Shabbat at the Kotel or a synagogue of your choice
Shabbat dinner at the hotel

walking tour with Rabbi Jonny Porath through the four colorful quarters

| Take part in a moving Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony at Robinson's Arch,
the "Conservative Kotel" Explore the Southern Wall Excavations and

the Davidson Center. Free time for lunch (on one's own) and shopping
in the Jewish Quarter. In the Kotel Tunnels, walk alongside the
Western Wall's massive foundation stones. Return to the hotel to
prepare for the party. Evening: Bar/Bat Mitzvah dinner party at the
hotel (private room; including dinner, bar/bat mitzvah cake, DJ or

Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Children's Memorial at Yad

younger children: At the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, enjoy meeting the
animals that roamed this land during Bible times (accompanied by

through unique craft items in Nachalat Binyamin's colorful, open-air
market, and see modern Tel Aviv in action (time permitting)
