| Welcome to Israel! Arrive Ben
Gurion Airport. Meeting, assistance and transfer to your hotel in Tel
Aviv. Tonight: Get Together Dinner at a local restaurant.

| Oct. 24th - Day 3: Friday - Tel Aviv
|
| First today, drive through the main
thoroughfares of Tel Aviv including the Mann Auditorium, Helena
Rubinstein Pavilion to Yitzhak Rabin Square, in memory of the late prime
minister. Arrive at the campus of Tel Aviv University to visit the
Diaspora Museum with its incredible collection of Judaica. You'll have an
opportunity to see how the museum traces 2,500 years of Jewish life
around the globe through special thematic exhibits. From here, continue
to Rehovot for Machon Ayalon to visit the pre-state underground ammunition
factory. Return to the port city of Jaffa; explore the reconstructed
Artists' Quarter with its galleries and boutiques. Not far from here is
the colorful open-air Carmel market and the lively pedestrian mall in
Nachlat Binyamin Street with its outdoor cafes, restaurants and strolling
musicians. Enjoy both. This evening Shabbot dinner in your hotel.

| Oct. 25th - Day 5: Saturday-Tel Aviv Free day in Tel Aviv

| Oct. 26th - Day 5: Sunday - Tel Aviv
|
| Depart Tel Aviv to ancient
Caesarea: explore the astounding Roman and Crusader ruins. Then, visit
newly opened Caesarea Harbor, with its thrilling, multi-media presentation-
you'll see ancient history come to life! Short drive from here is
Atlit; visit the former detention camp used to intern Jewish immigrants
deemed illegal by the British authorities. Stop for falafel lunch before
continuing to the timeless Crusader port city of Acre (Akko), with its
Middle Age fortress, subterranean city and bazaars. End the day in
Tiberias on the shores of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). Dinner tonight
at the hotel.

| Oct. 27th - Day 6: Monday-Galilee - Golan
|
| Drive to Capernaum; see the
ruins of the ancient synagogue on the site where Jesus once preached.
On to Safed, on Judaism's holiest cities; visit the ancient synagogues and
the Artists' Quarter. Then, board your Jeep for an off the beaten track
tour of the Galilee and the strategic Golan Heights. Visit Ben Tal
Mountain where you can enter and explore the IDF army bunkers overlooking
Syria. On to the Chateaux Golan Winery, a wonderful boutiquestyle
winery. Visit the Talmudic Village in Katzrin. This evening enjoy a
boat cruise on the lake and seaside dinner in a grill restaurant.

| Oct. 28th - Day 7: Tuesday - Jordan Valley-Jerusalem
|
| Depart Tiberias to Megiddo, the famous archeological site. Continue onto
Bet Shean, an ancient city from the time of King Saul: see the astounding
remains of a Roman city. Next ascend to Belvoir, the crusader's castle
for a stunning view of the entire region. From here, drive along the
Jordan Valley, passing by Jericho, the oldest walled city in the world.
Ascend the Judean Mountains to Jerusalem. Dinner tonight at a local
restaurant in Jerusalem.

| Oct. 29th - Day 8: Wednesday - Jerusalem
|
| Drive to the Hadassah Medical Center to see the brilliant Chagall
Windows. On to Yad Vashem, memorial to the Holocaust; visit the
Museum, children's Pavilion and walk along the avenue of the Righteous.
Then, to Mount Hertzel to pay respects to Israel's military heroes. Visit
the newly opened Hertzel Museum . Drive via the Supreme Court
Building and the Knesset to Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the
Book, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Scale Model of ancient
Jerusalem. Time to walk through the Billy Rose Sculpture Garden

| Oct. 30th - Day 9: Thursday - Jerusalem
|
| Enter the Old City from the
Dung Gate. Walk to the Western Wall. View the Dome of the Rock.
Drive to Mt. Zion to visit the traditional Tomb of King David and the
Room of the Last Supper. Proceed to the restored Jewish Quarter; walk
along the Cardo, the colonnaded main street of Byzantine Jerusalem.
Visit the Herodian Mansions, a residential quarter from 2000 years ago,
or, walk through the extraordinary Hasmonean Tunnel (tunnel schedule
permitting). Follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy
Sepulcher; walk through the exotic bazaars. Dinner in a local Restaurant
and Night Tour.

| Oct. 31st - Day 10: Friday - Jerusalem Surrounding
|
| Start the day fulfilling the mitzvah of Tree Planting. After, drive to the
fascinating Biblical Gardens at Noet Kedumim to learn more about the
flora and fauna of the bible and the way people lived their daily life.
Next visit Latrun, the former border with Jordan; see the French
Trappist Monastery and visit the Armored Forces Museum, the strategic
site of crucial battles to control the road to Jerusalem including the War
of Independence. Continue to Mini-Israel to see the fantastic mini-replicas
of all the major buildings and sites in Israel. Return to Jerusalem.
Tonight: Shabbat Dinner at the hotel.

| Nov. 1st - Day 11: Saturday - Jerusalem - Shabbat!
|
| Full day at leisure.
You may want to visit the Museum of the History of Jerusalem at David's
Citadel in Jaffa Gate.

| Nov. 2nd - Day 12: Sunday - Masada - Dead Sea - Eilat
|
| Travel via the stark Judean desert and along the shores of the Dead Sea,
the lowest place on earth, to Masada. Ascend by cable car to this last
stronghold of the Zealots. Visit the excavations, palace, synagogue and
bathhouse. Then drive to one of the hotels on the shores of the Dead
Sea for lunch and use of the spa. Enjoy an "unsinkable" swim in the buoyant,
salty waters of the Dead Sea* After, continue through the Arava
Desert, end the day in Eilat, the resort town on the shores of the Red
Sea. (*Those who return home tonight will be transferred to Ben Gurion
Airport for an overnight flight, arriving home on Monday, November 3rd.)

| Nov 3rd - Day 13: Monday - Eilat
|
| Free day. Day at leisure to relax and
enjoy all of the delights of this seaside city…swim or snorkel in the Red
Sea (or your hotel's pool)…stroll along the seaside promenade.
OPTIONAL: PETRA - Early morning departure from Amman to Petra for
a most Unforgettable day in Petra! Your local guide will take you on a
private tour into the "rose-red" city (by horseback and foot), which
begins at the "Siq" a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage
you'll see Petra's most beautiful monument-the Treasury-carved out of
the solid rock from the side of the mountain. Beyond the Treasury, you'll
discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers
and water channels. After lunch in Petra, transfer to the Arava
border crossing; enjoy the breathtaking scenery en route. Upon your reentry
into Israel (Eilat), you'll be personally met and transferred to your
hotel.

| Nov. 4th - Day 14: Tuesday - Eilat
|
| First part of the day is at leisure to
relax and enjoy all the delights of this seaside city including, the
Underwater Observatory. Evening transfer to Eilat Airport for a flight to
Tel Aviv followed by a Farewell Dinner. Later transfer to the airportin
time to board your flight back home.
