Early departure to ascend Masada by cable car. Spend some time this afternoon at Caesar Dead Sea spa hotel, including lunch. Travel north through the Jordan River Valley. Tour the synagogues, courtyards, shops and artists studios of the mystical city of Tzefat. Travel to the Golan Heights stop to gaze down over the Galilee as the Syrians once did. Ascend to the peak of Har Bental, where you can enter army bunkers and take in a panoramic view of three countries. Taste the award-winning kosher wines at the Golan Winer. Take a boat ride on the Kinneret, followed by a farewell lakeshore dinner at Decks;

Thursday, July 17 - Layers of History
Enjoy a scenic overview of the Bahai Gardens in Haifa and take the "Peace Walk" in Haifa's Wadi Nis Nis Market, where art by Jewish, Muslim, and Christian artists is displayed OR Walk through the fascinating, underground Roman water system that once fed ancient Caesaria at Mei Kedem near Binyamina (strap-on water shoes, small towel needed) See ancient history come to life at the newly-opened multi-media center against the backdrop of ancient Caesaria. Excavations include an impressive amphitheatre and aqueduct. Visit Sara Ahronson House in Zichron Yaakov to learn about the valiant underground work and personal sacrifice of this freedom fighter and her Nili compatriots (time permitting) Meet with Rabbi Elisha Walfin and members of the Masorti Congregation of Zichron Ya'akov.
